Add a Pool in Camunda Modeler
Add a Pool From the Elements Palette, click on Create Pool/Participant icon. Move your cursor onto the Canvas and click to position it on the Canvas. The pool will automatically resize to include any elements that have already been placed on the Canvas. Double click in the text box on the left-hand side of the pool to label your Process. Add a Swim Lane in Camunda Modeler
Add a Swim Lane Select the Pool. If there are no Swim Lanes, you can click anywhere on the border of the Pool to select it. If there are already Swim Lanes, click on the left-hand edge of the Pool to select it. The Context Pad will appear on the right-hand side of the Pool. Click on the appropriate icon for where you wish to add your Swim Lanes (e.g. Add Lane Above, Divide into two Lanes, Divide into three lanes, Add lane below). Add a Swim Lane in Camunda Modeler

Create a "Black Box" Pool in Camunda Modeler
Create a "Black Box" Pool From the Elements Palette, click on Create Pool/Participant icon. Move your cursor onto the Canvas and click to position it on the Canvas. Select the Pool by clicking anywhere on the border of the Pool. The Context Pad will appear on the right-hand side of the Pool. Click on the Wrench icon to change the element type. Label Swim Lanes in Camunda Modeler
Label Swim Lanes Your Pool must have two or more Lanes to be able to label the Lanes. (See Image 1 below) Double-click inside the Swim Lane you wish to label. A vertical text box will be activated on the left-hand side of the Swim Lane. Enter the name of your Swim Lane. Label Swim Lane in Pool with Only One Swim Lane (See Image 2 below) Add a Swim Lane to your Pool temporarily. Follow the instructions above. Remove the Swim Lane that you added temporarily. Remove a Pool ⚠️ Removing a Pool will remove all elements inside of it. Select the Pool. If there are no Swim Lanes, you can click anywhere on the border of the Pool to select it. If there are already Swim Lanes, click on the left-hand edge of the Pool to select it. The Context Pad will appear on the right-hand side of the Pool. Select the Trashcan icon to remove the Pool. Remove a Swim Lane 💡 Removing a Swim Lane will not remove its contents. Select the Swim Lane you wish to delete by clicking anywhere inside of it.
