When I open it again all the changes are saved except for the rotation. Why is this? Answer: Page rotation is not saved when the Rotate View feature is used. The Rotate Pages feature must be used for this purpose. It is available in the Organize tab:

How to license PDF Xchange Editor Upon installation of PDF Xchange Editor, from Software Center, your license keys should be checked for activation.  A banner notifying you if any keys have yet to be activated will be displayed. Clicking the Activate License keys button will open Preferences and you will see Installed License Key. Choose Activate.
