Editing Grouped Markups without Ungrouping
Ever make a nice group of objects on Bluebeam and realize after the fact that you needed to edit a text box, move an object, or resize an object? You can keep the grouped items together AND manipulate components in the group! Left click to Select the target Group. Hold Alt to show the components of the target Group To start manipulating, hold Alt+Left Click on the group. You can now start changing sizes and moving items around. Press Esc to finish editing the Group. Pictures if it helps: Select the group Hold Alt+Left Click on the group to enable editing; press ESC to finish editing.

Highlighting Freehand Around Text Fields
Have you ever wanted to highlight an object on a set of drawings or specs and the highlighter tool automatically switches to a text cursor (highlight text only)? i.e. ends up happening when I really want à Follow to steps below to modify the highlighting option: To do highlighting freehand when there text items around, hold the CTRL key while hovering and it will change your cursor from a text cursor to the highlighter icon. While holding Ctrl, left-click to start highlighting and it will be free-hand (not limited to text). To do highlighting in a straight line, hold the SHIFT key before left-clicking and you will end up with straight line highlights, semi-freehand. To do highlighting in a straight line AND near text fields, hold the SHIFT + CTRL keys before left clicking and you will end up with straight line highlights, semi-freehand

Post an RFI using Bluebeam
Posting RFIs Using Bluebeam (For images depicting the steps below, please open the attached document at the bottom of this article) Step 1: Open the document where the RFI is to be posted. Step 2: If the DWG already has postings, unflatten first by going to Document on the top toolbar, clicking Flatten from the tools, and clicking the Unflatten button. Step 3: Cloud the area affected by the RFI by going to Markup on the top toolbar and selecting Cloud. Step 4: Drag and draw a Box around the area for the cloud. Step 5: Label the RFI by going to Markup on the top toolbar and select Callout. Step 6: Add leader and callout box with the text, “RFI XX.” Step 7: Add a hyperlink by right clicking on the RFI number text box and selecting “Edit Action.” Step 8: Select Open File, browse to the RFI location, click Open, check the box “Use Relative Paths”, and click OK. NOTE: Relative Path is important as this will enable your file hyperlinks to be maintained if files are moved from one folder to another, or one device to another (i.e. iPad). Step 9: Flatten the document once again by going to Document on the top toolbar and selecting Flatten. Click the Flatten button. Step 10: Go to File on the top toolbar and click SAVE.
