Overview

Edge has a wide variety of settings that can be customized to suit your requirements and preferences.

Steps to Perform

Check and Configure the Notifications settings:
- Open Edge
- Navigate to URL: edge://settings/content/notifications
- In the Site permissions / Notifications section:
  - User can choose to turn the Ask before sending (recommended) option on or off.
- In the Allow section:
  - Remove any unknown sites
    1. On the applicable line, click the ellipsis.
    2. Click Remove
Check and configure the Pop-ups and redirects settings:
1. Open Edge
2. Navigate to URL: edge://settings/content/popups
  1. In the Blocked (recommended) section:
    - Turn on Blocked (recommended)
  2. In the Allow section:
    - Remove any unknown sites
      1. On the applicable line, click the ellipsis.
      2. Click Remove
