Change an Event Type in Camunda Modeler

Change an Activity Type

From the Context Pad, you can change one Activity type to another (e.g. change a Task to a Sub-Process) or you can further specify the type of Task (e.g. Manual Task, User Task).

Select the Event you wish to change.
The Context Pad will appear above the selected Event.
Click on the Change Element icon (the left-most icon on the Context Pad, that looks like a rounded rectangle overlapping a circle).
The list of available Event types will appear.
Select which Event type you wish to apply.

An example of changing an Intermediate Event to an Intermediate Timer Event, and changing an End Event to a Message End Event.
