Steps to Perform

• Prerequisite Checklist
  • Your Work Computer (with internet access).
  • Your Mobile Device (with internet access).

1. Download and Install the Microsoft Authenticator App on your Mobile Device:
   • The Microsoft Authenticator App can be found in the Google Play store and the Apple app store.
     1. Access the Google Play store or Apple app store
     2. Search for Microsoft Authenticator
        • Google Play store
          
          
          
        • Apple app store
          
          
          
     3. Tap Install
   • Microsoft Supporting Website: Download Microsoft Authenticator
     
     
2. Add a Sign-in Method to your Swinerton Account:
   1. Using your Work Computer, access https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
      • Sign-in with your Swinerton credentials.
   2. Click Add Sign-in method
      
      
      
   3. Click Microsoft Authenticator
      
      
      
   4. Click Next
      
      
      
   5.  This is the QR Code that will be scanned in the next step.
      •  Stay on this for the next step.
        
        
        
3. Setup the Microsoft Authenticator App on your Mobile Device:
   1. Launch the Microsoft Authenticator App on your device.
      • Your Mobile Device may prompt for Access Permissions.
   2. Tap Accept on the privacy prompt.
   3. Tap Continue on the improve Microsoft Authenticator prompt.
   4. Tap Scan QR code
      
      
      
   5. Use your Mobile Device to scan the QR Code that displays on your Work Computer. 
      
      
4. After scanning the QR Code on your Mobile Device, return to your Work Computer to complete the process for adding a Sign-in Method.
   1. Click Next
   2. Input the number displayed into the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.
   3. Click Next
      
      
      
   4. Microsoft Authenticator will test.
      
      
      
   5. Click Next
   6. Microsoft Authenticator will now display in the Security info
