Action Required

1. Connect the Laptop to the AC Power Cable (charger, docking station).
   • It is important that the machine is on AC power when the update runs to avoid potential power loss due to a low battery. 
2. Each employee will be notified that they have an update pending with the following icon in their task bar.
   
   
   
3. Employees will have 5 calendar days to perform the Update & Restart process to install Windows 11 after being notified of its deployment. 
   • Windows 11 installation will take about 45 minutes.
     

• If you did not perform the update during this 5-day period, your computer will force a reboot to execute the installation and give you a 10-minute warning before doing so that cannot be delayed.
