Overview

• Pausing Windows 11 Updates.

Steps to Perform

1. Input "Update" in the search bar
2. Click Check for updates
   
   
   
3. Click drop down in the Pause updates section
   • Select the most applicable Pause duration.
     
     
     
4. Once the Windows updates is paused, there are options to:

   Extend the pause updates for additional week(s). Extend the Windows update pause as needed.
   Resume updates. Resume (cancel the windows update pause) when needed.

   
   

   • After selecting Resume updates, a Windows update may be available.
