How to Move the Taskbar to the Left:
- After upgrading to Windows 11, your Taskbar should be centered like this:
If you prefer to move it to the left to appear like Windows 10, proceed to step 2.
2. Click on the Windows Button or the Search Bar
3. Type in “taskbar” and select “Taskbar settings”
4. Scroll down with the Scroll Bar and select “Taskbar behaviors” to reveal a drop down
5. Under Taskbar behaviors, select the drop down and choose “Left”
6. Your Taskbar will move to the Left and you are done.
Folders Moved (Desktop, Documents, Pictures):
Windows has moved your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures Folders from C:\Users\(your username)\ and relocated them under your OneDrive Folder. This function allows for your data to be backed up to OneDrive (the Cloud) for backup. You can find your folders now under C:\Users\(your username)\OneDrive – Swinerton. It is recommended to not turn off OneDrive or move your folders from OneDrive for the risk of losing data.
