WHAT

This guide will provide an overview of how data moves between WorkMax, CMiC, and Workday.

HOW

See below for an integrations map and details on the information that transfers between systems. Integrations generally push every 30 minutes.

CMiC

Jobs integrate from Unanet to CMiC
CMiC to WorkMax; Jobs, Departments, Project Chart of Accounts (COA) and Project Budget
Project COA or cost codes integrate from CMiC to Workday.
Once a budget is uploaded in CMiC, cost codes with a 71111 Category integrate into WorkMax.
Job data including their job number, address and Region code integrate into WorkMax when they are setup in CMiC.
Cost codes designated for craft use MUST have a 71111 Category. Craft cost code descriptions should be simple and relative to the task.

Workday

Employees, Positions, Cost Centers and Unions integrate from CMiC to Workday to WorkMax.
Craft Employees are integrated directly from Workday to WorkMax.
1. Integration pushes employee's into WorkMax via their Employee ID#. There are often multiple people with the same name, please make sure you double-check employee IDs to verify you're looking at the correct person.
Employees are associated with the proper overtime policy based on their union membership or the state in which they work.
Employees are assigned the proper Security Role in the WorkMax system based on their job profile in Workday
If a craft employee's job profile changes, it will not update in WorkMax until AFTER Workday is updated. If a different security role in WorkMax than their default, please work with your division's Super User to get that updated in the WorkMax system.

WorkMax

Timesheets integrate from WorkMax to Workday Monday afternoon upon being Batched, Processed and Closed by Craft Services. (WorkMax process/timing).
Employees are associated with the proper overtime policy based on their union membership or the state in which they work.
Employees are assigned the proper Security Role in the WorkMax system based on their job profile in Workday
Completed quantities integrate from WorkMax to CMiC upon Job Cost upload to CMiC usually Thursday
