How Your CMiC Access has Changed - SOLV Energy User
With the move to SOLV Energy, we have had to update your access within CMiC. Some things remain the same, and some others have changed. Hopefully this will answer some of your questions.
How your access to Companies and Projects has been updated:
- You will continue to log in with the same credentials and the landing page will be the same.
- You now have access to projects in both company 010 (department 059 ONLY, previously SRE) and company 445 (department 446 ONLY, SOLV Energy). Having access to two companies does not change your daily tasks in any way. This just means that you have access to projects in both companies.
- Your user access has been changed from company 010 to company 445. This means that when you access your project, you will be doing so through SOLV Energy, not Swinerton. Again, this shouldn't affect what you can do in the system.
- Most active projects have been moved from company 010 to company 445. Data validation for the transition will take place on Monday, 11/1 and Tuesday, 11/2. Your project number has moved over to company 445 (department 446) as well. The project numbers mirror what they were in company 010, with 446 replacing 059 (21446XXX rather than 21059XXX).
- It is important to be careful when pulling up projects in CMiC. Although your project now lives in company 445, the previous 059 project is still active in CMiC. Any work done on the 059 project will cause issues and need to be reversed and redone on the 446 project.
- Because your access has moved to SOLV Energy, you will need to update your email address in your CMiC. Not updating your email address could cause problems with workflow notifications and I/O email transactions. For more information on how to update your email address, click HERE.
- When you pull up the list of active projects that you have access to, you will only see the list of projects that have been assigned to department 059, in company 010 and department 446, in company 445. This is expected. Your access in the system is limited to only SOLV Energy projects now.
NOTE: The list of projects in department 059, in company 010, has been limited to active projects at this point in time. Should you need to access a previously closed project from department 059, simply put in a ticket to the Service Desk and we can assist you access that particular project. You should have access to all projects active in department 446, in company 445.
Should you run into any other access issues, submit a ticket to the Service Desk and we will be here to assist you.
