CPM - Daily Journal Entries Will Not Sync

Introduction

Sometimes new Daily Journal entries in the Construct Project Management mobile app will not sync over properly, resulting in entries that do not show up in CMiC on the web.

Steps


1. Open CMiC Project Maintenance in your web browser.


2. Locate the project you are working on, then click the name of it to open the Project Information section.


3. Click the Defaults tab, then click Masks on the options menu



4. Go to the Journal No. line and replace the number 1 with the * character as noted below, click Save.  


(When there is a number at the end of the numbering mask, it will not allow more than one Daily Journal to be created per day. The * character tells the system to create the next journal number in standard sequence (2020-05-1, 2020-05-2 and so forth).)
