Request Letter of Bondability
Request Letter of Bondability -
Only Cosential Users will complete the Letter of Bondability request when needed from Cosential. The actual request form is in Boomi, and is accessed through Cosential.
Note: This process should be completed in Chrome, rather than IE.
STEP 1: In Cosential, from the Opportunity record you need a bond for, click External Links (upper right hand corner of the Summary screen), then "Request a Bond".
You are taken to Boomi to complete the Bond Request Form. There are four areas of the form that need to be completed (one additional if project is Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, or Integrated Project Delivery). The areas to be completed for Letter of Bondability requests are:
1. General Info
2. Contract Breakdown
3. Entity Info
4. Letter of Bondability (you do not need to complete Bid Bond or Payment & Performance areas unless you need those specific items)
General Info Tab -
The Company, Job Department, Potential Revenue and Opportunity Number/Bid Job will auto populate from Cosential.
STEP 1: Complete the following (all must be completed prior to Saving the form):
STEP 2: After completing the General Info form, click Save.
Note: It is good practice to click SAVE prior to progressing to the next form.

Breakdown Fees GC's%: Percentage of project - Fee
Breakdown Self Performed %: Percentage of project - Self Perform
Breakdown Subcontracted %: Percentage of project - Subcontracted
Entity Info Tab -
The Company, Job Department, Potential Revenue and Opportunity Number/Bid Job will auto populate from Cosential.

Design-Build Tab (If Applicable) -
Note: The Design-Build tab will be blank (and it not required) unless the project was specified to be Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build or Integrated Project Delivery in Cosential.
The Company, Job Department, Potential Revenue and Opportunity Number/Bid Job will auto populate from Cosential.
STEP 1: If the project is Design-Build, complete the following (all must be completed prior to Saving the form):

Letter of Bondability -
The Company, Job Department, Potential Revenue and Opportunity Number/Bid Job will auto populate from Cosential.
STEP 1: Complete the following (all must be completed prior to Saving the form):
STEP 2: After completing the General Info form, click Save.
Note: It is good practice to click SAVE prior to progressing to the next form.
STEP 3: Once all of the forms are completed, and saved, download the Bond form by clicking the Download button.

STEP 4: Upon completion of the Letter of Bondability form, email it and additional bid documents (listed below) to Amarili Galvez, as well as Cc Michelle Luster and your Division Manager, for bond processing.
