Microsoft Teams Settings - Calls and Notifications

Changing your Settings depends on what features work for you and which ones do not work for you, there is no "right" way.

Click on your profile picture (or Initials) > select Settings

Notifications 

> Toggle ON 'Play sound for notifications'

> Select 'Custom' under 'Teams and channels' and set the notification level you want for each according to the below;

--> 'Banner and feed' = Audible notification tone (and shown in feed)

--> 'Only show in feed' = NO audible notification tone (only shown in feed - i.e. pop up in the App panel on the left of screen)

--> 'Off' = No notifications at all - but the activity will still appear in each channel/chat as per normal

> Set 'Secondary ringer' as desired
