Enter Time by "Enter Time" -  (Hourly)

  

Notes: To enter your work hours, it can be accessed by using the Worklet or using the search field by typing "enter my time."

 


Company Holidays will populate automatically.  Sick/Vacation will populate from the Time Off Worklet where you enter your Sick/Vacation requests.


Your Worklet placement might be different, not everyone will have all the same worklets.


 


 






 

STEP 1: Click Time

 


 


 



 

STEP 2: Click Select Week

 

 


STEP 3: Click on the first day the pay period starts

 

STEP 4: Click Ok

 


  

STEP 5: Click Actions

 

STEP 6: Click Enter Time

 

 


 

STEP 7: Click "In" time (Time you started your day) "Out" Time

 

STEP 8: Enter "Out" time (The time you stopped working on that project)

 

STEP 9: Choose your Out Reason (If you are just stopping work on that project, then your Out Reason is "Out". If you are stopping for lunch, your Out Reason is "Meals")


Notes: You can either just type in your project # and then choose the phase code from the list  OR you if you know it, you can type in your job#.phase code  (15041014.013000)  OR if you don't know your job #, you can click Projects and search for it and then search for the phase code

 


STEP 10: Click into the Time Type field to select your Job and Phase - There are two options here:


 


1. Most Recently Used - if you have already charged time to a project/phase, you can select it here.

 

2. Project Plan Tasks - Select your Job and Phase from the list provided

 

STEP 11: Click the + Sign

 

STEP 12: Verify additional details of your time coding.  Here you will see information that is defaulted based on your job location (for payroll tax purposes), your department org chart and your position.

 


 

Notes: Only warehouse employees working on repairing Swinerton yard equipment should be entering anything for the Rental Results WO#, this would be the Workshop Order #)

 

The region and Location need to match where you are physically working.  These details default in based on the job/department location you are charging to.  If you are physically working somewhere else, you need to change the region and the location to where you are working.  Reference THIS solution for updating location worked.

 

 

 

If any of the details in step 12 appear incorrect, please submit a Swinerton Support Ticket.  It will be routed to the proper resources to verify the information is correct.

 


 

STEP 13: Click Done

 

 

STEP 14: Click Sign to add rows

 

 


STEP 15: Double check that you have the right amount of hours

 

STEP 16: Double check your total hours entered in this week (The totals at the top are BY WEEK)

 

STEP 17: Click Ok

 

 


 




 

STEP 18: Click Forward arrow to go to the next week

 

STEP 19: Enter time for that week, same as above

 

STEP 20: Click Forward arrow if you need to go into the next week to complete the time for that period or click the carrot drop down to select by day.

 

STEP 21: Once you have entered everything for that period, Click Review

 

 


STEP 22: Select the period you want to submit (if you only enter time for one period you can bypass this step)


STEP 23: Review that you have all your hours entered

 

STEP 24: Click Submit

 

Note: Once you click Submit, your approver will receive a notification to approve your time card
