Workday Home Page and How To Set Up Your Apps
Workday Home Page
Click on the Workday icon at any time to navigate back to your home page.
Workday’s home page is the landing page for self-service and a way to get to all of your applications (apps) to access information based on various categories of data. The home page also exposes your inbox items awaiting action, quick tasks (utilizes Machine Learning), timely suggestions and company announcements.
Click "View All Apps" or the menu in the upper left hand corner to access all your apps. The apps you see on your home page will vary depending on your role (Employee, Manager, HR manager etc). You can click on apps to view information and complete tasks.
Configuring Your Menu
Additional apps may be added.
STEP 1: From your Home Page, click View All Apps or the Menu in the upper-left hand corner. You will be brought a list of all your current apps.
Note: Only 20 apps can be displayed at once. You may need to select Edit to locate/sort an an App that is not currently displayed.
STEP 2: Click the Add Apps to add a new app. Search for the app using key words. Click "+" to add to your menu.
STEP 3: Click Edit to remove an app, re-sort (drag and drop) your apps.
For any apps that do not have a minus sign, these apps are required and cannot be removed/modified.
STEP 4: Click Save Changes after making your edits
STEP 5: Any added Apps or edits are now visible in the menu.
